PRESS RELEASE 2016
The Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History (Ministry of Defence) is pleased and honoured to announce the publication of a beautiful hardcover book presenting clearly and exhaustively the elegant collection of 144 civil and military aircraft of the Museum's Air & Space section: 144 CIVIL AND MILITARY AIRCRAFT. The book features numerous illustrations of the models presented.
The author, Charlie de la Royère, has been passionate about aviation since his youngest age. Now in charge of the Air section's library and documentation centre, he explains that he started his research four years ago. He gives many details about each plane's history and use in Belgium, but also about the adventure of its acquisition and restoration.
The book is available at the publisher: Patricia Henrion - info@editionspatH.be - +32 2 356 46 16. Price: €30. It is sold as well at the Museum. The Dutch and English translations have been carried out by aviation specialists.
